This is a fanlisting for Brian Froud, an artist who has sketched and painted hundreds of images depicting faeries, pixies, elves, and all their kin. But he's not just a fantasy artist; his pictures are vibrant with magic, almost as if he were translating the world of the fae to a medium we humans can understand. His diligent research of mythology and folklore combined with his creative vision culminate in beautiful, whimsical, and realistic artwork. He also did major creative consulting work on the movies Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal, fabricating elaborate worlds of goblins, aughra, and other characters to enhance Jim Henson's amazing creatures designs.
