This is a fanlisting for the TV/film production company Mutant Enemy, Inc. Created by Joss Whedon, M.E. has been the brains, heart, and soul behind the television shows Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and the upcoming Dollhouse. The name of the company comes from the song "And You And I" by Yes, and was also the name of Joss's first typewriter when he was 15. The famous "Grr, argh!" logo was created in 20 minutes, with Joss providing the voice and David Solomon "puppeteering." The mutant enemy changed either his look or his line six times during Buffy's run: "Becoming Part 2" ("I need a hug"), "Amends" (santa hat & jingle bells), "Graduation Day Part 2" (graduation cap), "Once More, With Feeling" (the line is sung), "Storyteller" (he sings "We are as gods"), and "Chosen" (he turns towards the screen and makes a face).
